Where Oh Where Have My Blogposts Gone?

Oh where oh where can they be? I really did post in May and June. Guess they're off in some mysterious place called inexperienced blogger land.
I got my author copies of miss Aggie's Gone Missing. Here's the cover. Isn't it beautiful?
Miss Aggie Cries Murder is now in the hands of my editors. Thank the Lord. I'm really eager to start on book 3, but my deadline got pushed back to February, so am now writing a historical romance. This one is fun too. It takes place in Chicago during the time of the Great Fire.
Switching from 1st person to 3rd person is strange, though. The other day I wrote what I thought was a wonderful paragraph and one of my critique partners said it sounded like author intrusion to her. I'm not sure. After all, you can't have a whole book with nothing but dialogue and inner thought, can you? sigh. But I remain teachable. Otherwise how can I improve my writing?
My Louisiana daughter and family were her a few weeks ago. We had a wonderful time. I got to my my first great grandchild. Little Lauryn is absolutely beautiful and sweet as can be.
I'll be going in for surgery on July 21st, so not sure when I'll blog next. Until then, have a wonderful, wonderful summer.

I just had a similar experience with a huge comment I was leaving on a social network. I clicked over to check my e-mail, and when I clicked back, it was gone! I felt like crying. I see that Miss Aggie is in the next batch of mysteries. I will be looking for the cover picture, so if you get it, could you let me know. Have a fabulous Friday.

Hi Susan,
Yes, book 2, Miss Aggie Cries Murder will be in the next shipment which should ship around the 27th. I recieved a pencil sketch of the cover and made some comments, but never did receive the actual cover. My author copies should arrive by the 13th. I'll scan it then.
